I use my expertise in educational technology to leverage innovative tools to create meaningful learning opportunities that empower learners, educators, and staff members.

Pronounced “Eight-oh-eight-ers” Club, I wanted to address the lack of BIPOC representation in the technology industry by introducing kids to basic physical computing concepts through a five-day workshop, low-cost take-home kit, set of additional activities, and sharing platform in hopes of sparking an interest in computer science. By children of color, I am referring to BIPOC children. The idea was that children would learn about electricity, circuitry, microcontrollers; and would create a drum machine that they can play with and take home at the end of the workshop.

Black Haze is an AI art experiment. I prompted surreal scenes depicting Black womanhood. I used artificial intelligence because I wanted to imagine greater possibilities for Black women than are afforded us in our current reality. I occasionally use the AI-generated images to create collages in an attempt to add the human hand into the works.
